Daarnaast zijn er diverse bugfixes doorgevoerd en is er veel aandacht besteed aan het uitbalanceren van de verschillende eenheden binnen het spel.

Universe at war novus Patch#

Een van de meest interessante zaken die met deze patch wordt toegevoegd, is de mogelijkheid om multiplayer spellen te spelen tegen zowel Xbox 360- als pc-gebruikers. De patch is een kleine 65MB groot en kan onder andere van de Patches Scrolls worden gedownload, maar ook in het spel zelf bestaat de mogelijkheid om naar de nieuwste versie te upgraden. In dit door Sega uitgegeven spel strijden drie buitenaardse rassen, te weten de Novus, de Hierarchy en de Masari, op planeet Aarde om de macht. Petroglyph Studios heeft de derde patch voor het spel Universe at War: Earth Assault vrijgegeven.
